Mechanical Seal Working Length
Directions:
Measure the shaft size using a caliper or ruler. Using the scale below, note the scale reading for that shaft size. Taking a rotary and a spring, set the rotary with the spring on the scale and press down until the reading is correct. Measure the height of the rotary and spring--this is the working length.
